Thanks Andy, I did try this but still nothing. I will bring it back tomorrow and see what they say. I got it as a backup to a 580 so it is not that important. Joe.

Hi, I just got a Nissin di866 mark ii. It works fine in TTL mode but I can't get it to work in M or AV. I have tried it on 2 cameras a 5d MKi an a 1DMKiiN but nothing. A couple of times, just after I changed from TTL to M it fired off a couple of shots but than stopped. Any Ideas? Thanks.
