I think its going to be quite sunny tomorrow and I am unsure what metering mode to use to photograph the planes at waddington airshow. (planes are not normally my thing) I use a 60D and will have a 70-200 F2.8 with me. What you guys recommend ?

I have a canon 60d with grip. When I use a big lens e.g 100-400mmL. The camera strap becomes very annoying . Has anyone used other straps ? I see camlink do a few ,what have people used ?

Does the end of this lens turn ? or is it internal focusing ?

Thats a good thing then. I have used a 100-400L a lot and not bothered about it not been "fast". I am a media photographer for the british drift championship. Stuff like this...

Thanks for the info. I mostly shoot cars and drifting, I have used a 100-400 A few times and loved it but the 70-300L might tick all the boxes. See if I can find one.

Has anyone on here got a EF 70-300mm F4-5.6 L IS USM ? What do they think of it ? how would you rate it ?

In a camera mag I was ready one of the pro's had a little filter/key ring thing. To hold up to see what it would look like if the shot was done in black ad White. Anyone seen these ? What are they called ?

Some good tips in here. I have been to waddington the last 2 years. Each year getting better results . Changing the light monitoring setting helped me a lot especially with it been a dull day.

I'm down with the rocket blower aswell. Brilliant to have in my bag!

I have the sigma 10-20 f4 . It's a brilliant lens. Couldn't recommend it more. I do need to use it more !

What is it your buying ??

the Jessops in lincoln is rubbish. Dont even think they have and L lens's in.

I use Transcend 16GB class 10 's in my 60D. They are only £17 and have all ways been good.
