    Wedding Photography - Camera choices

Thanks all so far! This is really good advice all round! I might look Into a second 50d for now then, and get a 24-105 or similar lens in that range to cover a few weddings (once the course is done etc) and see what I need from that point on. Out of interest who do you wedding togs use for...

Ouch! they are 2.5k on Hdew. but I could stretch i guess if it will really be an investment i will not need to re-look at. out of interest, this might be better in the business forum, but If i bought this today, when registered with the taxman later in the year is it possible to claim back...

    Wedding Photography - Camera choices

Not another wedding photographer starting out thread! Please though, hear me out, advice required! I've got to a point now where I'd like to explore and get into this, the demand is there, and there are enough people saying to me "if only you would take my friends wedding on" etc. I've...

    Boston Explosions

Thoughts go out to all those involved in this horrific destruction of human life. My fear is we will be seeing a lot more of this in the years to come.

    front vs rear Shutter Sync?

Fair enough, I'm sure i read somewhere rear curtain sync would paint a "frozen" subject over the top of one who had moved ever so slightly, basically reducing blur, clearly i read wrong! :) Thanks for the info! that's why i asked the question ;)

    front vs rear Shutter Sync?

Out of interest, for other users of flash out there, do you use front or rear shutter sync for your portraiture work and why? I was thinking the other night, I should probably switch to rear to eliminate small amounts of blur at speeds lower than my max sync. but wondered if there were any...

    Sigma 10-20 Filter options.

Evening all! Was wondering if anyone had the above lens, and can recommend a filter system which will work without vignetting at 10mm? I've looked but the LEE series seems a little complicated, in terms of WA adaptors, Hoods, holders, how many slots, etc etc etc. And is there a cheaper...
