thanks every body for the feedback , really appreciate it, sounds like things are just the same as during the film days then!!! it was going to be used on a canon kit lens (55-200 Ef 4.5/5.6) sounds like its not worth bothering to get one...i'll get my 300mm f2.5 first!! :'(

just a quikie but i haven't used a teleconverter since film! and was wondering if the tc's available these days lose much in terms of quality....and could anybody recommend any decent non brand cheaper but good kind!!??? Thanks for your help.

seen these falshguns on ebay today and would love to know if anybody has one and are they ok...its a YN460 Mark II (cant see who manufactures it and they are calling it a Speedlight and its 43 quid, not bad as a back up?? Would really appreciate anyone who could help. Thanks.
