All very good advice from the masters, nothing to add really just that digital allows you to keep on shooting and trying different settings out to see what gives you the best results. Oh, and prepare to get hooked, motocross photography gets very very addictive.

I got one the same as this from Wallmart in Florida last year, cost me $50 with an exchange rate of $2 to the £ at the time. Stays constantly in my camera bag, a great tool. ;)

I use Illford Gallery paper and the results are stunning. As for posting I agree with the "ram it through the letterbox" theory so to counteract this I always use a 'signed for' service to ensure the door has to be knocked and the item handed over in person. Steve
