    Legalities of candids?

Im going to guess at that being wrong. If you are stood in a public place with a telephoto lens taking photos of someone in their own home, im going to guess that you would fall foul of the law.

    Legalities of candids?

Its not that crazy when you consider the fact that people who are that way inclined, actively seek out opportunities to abuse children (sports clubs seem to be a favourite, but schools churches etc. All have their own appeal). CRBs are not a complete system in and of themself, but they are a...

    Photographing Children

I think its safe to say that having dealt with nine (known) cases of sexually abused children over 30 years is a long way from making your teacher friend an expert. It would be true to say that most child sexual abuse victims are known to their abusers, however a good number are people not...

Lasolite Ezybox Speedlites 22cm - Worth it?

You might want to take a look at the Saberstrips (www.saberstrip.com) which do a good job in windy situations. I put a review of them in the reviews section, or there is plenty of info on their website

    Review Review: Saberstrip Light Modifiers.

By way of an update, took the saberstips out to take some shots of a couple of the girls who live near me, they were on their way to a party. It was quite windy - well windy enough to cause problems with an umbrella or softbox and the saberstrips were no problem at all. Sat happily on the stand...

    Review Review: Saberstrip Light Modifiers.

I was looking for some strip light softboxes suitable for speedlights and came across a post discussing benefits of the Saberstrip Light modifiers. After doing a bit of research and seeing them in use in videos by the Lightenupandshoot guys and Zack Arias and I took the plunge. I figured I...

I 'ad a spot of trouble...

It was an error Joe, I couldnt be bothered to go back and change it as there was no difference in the quality of the image, just in some of the positioning of the subjects. I still had the rain being lit by the floodlights and that big raindrop in the top right, etc. I had been thinking that...

I 'ad a spot of trouble...

Thanks Mark. Helpful advice. And yeah, the first was a differnt one from the other two, as mentioned the correct one was slightly after the one I posted, but it was just as bad.

I 'ad a spot of trouble...

Hi Gary, the question was more about what could I have done differently in the taking rather than the post processing. Given there are experts here who will be highly talented in the taking of photographs under floodlights in the pi...pouring rain, that's why I asked here.

I 'ad a spot of trouble...

At the start of last season, I photographed Seaford v (a) Charlton (team) for the opening of Seaford's stand. Right when I was about to take the team photo, a mofo of a downpour occurred, and this was the photo I was able to get: So obviously that's all a bit rubbish and was...

    Police forget law shocker

Err, no. The marches were not about the Canadian Copper's statement, although they were triggered by it. They were about a worldwide culture whereby the victims of rape are blamed for the crimes committed against them. That is far more than being just "a statement".
