    Thanks guys, I carry around both lenses but just thought i'd try and reduce the amount I carry. I'm climbing Ben Nevis in June so wanted to take the least amount of equipment up with me to save weight.

    Thanks for the comments :) I don't understand what you mean by "but you're still not quite hitting the third of the frame with the horizon" - do you mean I should be taking the picture of less rather than more? maybe zooming in a little?

    Morning All, Such a beautiful day :cool: I'm heading out into the hills to take some pictures, What settings would I be looking to use? I do have a preset landscape tog on my wheel but i'm sure i could adjust something to give me that edge. I'll be taking my tripod so any hints/tips...

    I use the 10s feature alot, So that's good to know! thanks for replying everyone! I'm going to give the waterfall/water shots a try at the weekend. I don't have any filters or know where to get them from? Like said i'm very new to this :lol:
