I agree with vaizki, except I would add "get a flash (430EX II)" and put it right under getting the 55-250. Also there is no such thing as a bargain on the 75-300. It is that bad.

If your primary subject has not changed while you are zooming in then your exposure should not change, as the light reflecting off your subject does not change in any way just because you have zoomed in on it. If you do have to change your exposure then that means your subject was not correctly...
