    What's going on?

Hi Guys, I have a Canon 5D mark II and use the 50mm and 24-105mm mostly. I had an issue a few weeks ago that then I took a picture the LCD would show the image preview and it would have a pink strip right at the top (but the rest would be ok) I then take another picture and the pink takes over...

    Where to find them

Totally agree, I've done some filming and genuine comparability is hard to find in actors and I imagine even more so in models. The point was really around portraits and using models that can help me as the photographer in ways through their experiences.

    Where to find them

Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone had used a site like casting call pro (I've used for actors before) to source subjects for Portrait/Couple photography? If so could you recommend some good places? I want to build a portfolio and improve my experience in this area. Cheers

    What size and where from

Hmm it's just a pain in the arse storing them tbh. Tempted to rip carpet up and put laminate down lol

    What size and where from

Cheers guys. I have a selection of vinyl 4ftx4ft but find it's not wide enough. My main issue is the carpet on my floor, not ideal as when stuff is stood on it indents and vinyl wood effect floors for example don't look real or get damaged. I imagine paper would rip or crumble...any solution?

    What size and where from

How long would an 11m roll last you guys? If I'm working with animals I'm guessing I'm going to burn through it pretty quick :(

    What size and where from

Hi guys, Looking to buy some seamless paper (Arctic White and Storm Grey). 2.72m seems very large as will be stored upright in a cupboard (might be touch and go) but given it's mainly animals I photograph (gotta be careful not to say shoot) they tend not to sit perfectly still so room for...

    Speedflash Studio Yay or Nay?

I've I'm touch with Lencarta about their kits. I don't need the stands and would prefer the profolds for ease of use. Just seeing what can be done as considering 2 lights, controls and 1x umbrella/1x softbox. Think that's a good starting point and still going to be a fair price.

    Speedflash Studio Yay or Nay?

I'm going take up fishing... Haha I kid. So would it be best to buy 1 unit that has good control ability for my space which is rather small like the Lencarta smartflash 2, play with it for a while using reflectors etc to see what I can get then just add what I need from there?

    Speedflash Studio Yay or Nay?

It's really a cost thing for me. I think your rite that the space I have won't require 3x heads. I think 1 and reflector will be enough. I did however want to take my photos to another level by separating the subject from the background using a hair light and or a background light. I was under...

    Speedflash Studio Yay or Nay?

So the idea of using my current speedlight alongside the Godox SK300 is a little more complicated than we thought? I would only be able to take 1 shot before having to wake it up each time? Sounds like I would be best of selling my EX 430II and get something a bit better or put that towards a...

    Speedflash Studio Yay or Nay?

Very good points and I think I understand what you mean. I used contrast heavily in this image to get a more striking shot of something relatively mundane. Applicable in colour also but animals with their fur have lost of dark/light trapped between their hairs. I guess using light in different...

    Speedflash Studio Yay or Nay?

Where would you use it then? Surely the lights very harsh without diffusion? Might cut that out then for the moment. I'm thinking of getting 2 head sets both with octoboxes to light a scene more efficiently as I mainly take images of dogs
