Cheers Alex. I fancied something a bit wider that 18-55mm but simlar at higher end (55mm). i have 55-250 and a 50mm prime and an 8mm fisheye so wanted to ensure I cover the full range of options.

Hi all Bad news Last week I was taking a shot with the kit lens (18-55mm) and camera error kept on being displayed, took lens of and heard a rattle, seconds later a couple of plastic bit fell out of lens and now its crunching when i turn the focus ring Good News I need to get a new lens...
