I'm 5"3 and its somtimes a bit of a problemwith tall clients, say 6"2 plus...sooo i have a step stool i use for portrait sessions if need be. For weddings i just pick my locations carefully!
Up to 3 months ago i only used AP. Then i had a go at taking a few duplicate shots with manual... since then i have changed and now shot manual 90% of the time.
Its still fairly new to me so it does make me a little slower (and yes I probably make more mistakes at the moment than when i shot...
Its just shocking how selfish and inconsiderate some people can be. The sad thing is the bride and groom with never forget that day...and all for the wrong reasons.
Hope you manged to get some special pics though that will go some way to making it better for them

I assisted a couple of times then replied to an advert for a student photographer to take the photographers at a photographers wedding. It was a very small affair and they only wanted me for a couple of hours so it was quite a gentle start.
Still early days for me though, I've done a few more...
Thanks - i was hoping to find some where in or around Conway really as I will only have a couple of hours.
Any other suggestions?
Got a lodge type thing over in Anglesey so I'm sure I will use those locations in the future, thanks!

Sorry, I'm doing another "any good locations thread"...but i need help again:)
I've got a couple of models booked for this Thursday for me to practise bridal portraits on. Both models are from near Conwy so I'm looking for some nice locations. around there
I don't want a castle (sorry!) -...
probably depend what time you have to be there? If its not until early pm i'd probably leave early morning. Also what day, are you likely to get stuck in rush hour?

I've just recently bit the bullet and started using Purestorm. I was really surprised at he response i've got - i'm booked up for the next 6 weeks! TBH i was quite intimidated by all the models (even amateurs for some reason) but I needn't have been.
