why uh oh?

at the moment i only have the kit lens.. but wanted slightly better quality then the 500d and have been told the colouring in canons are too fake?

Which is better? Canon or Nikon? I currently have a canon 500d and looking to upgrade but if i do i would like to know which to upgrade to and whether to switch to nikon? Thanks

yes i was shooting in manual which is probably my mistake as ive been told manual is quite advanced and obviously i still need to learn a bit more about it. thanks for your help. Does anyone know any good resources where I can learn a bit more? And what the best way to learn is? Thanks

if i changed the expo time to slower they were blurry and too bright and faster they were too dark

No its right. I was just having a play around and wasn't sure the best exp to put it on. Was just trying to get a clear image but wasn't happening on anything I did. I didn't use a flash. If i did use the camera flash it would have come out too bright Annalise
