    Baby portraits

Try to get as much light into your photos as possible - that's always a good advice, but here it's probably more important than ever. Babies' skin is very difficult in post processing, so you want to have the initial material really bright and with as little noise as possible. Also, take the...

Coming back with my youngest model

Hi everyone, it's been months now since my last activity here. A lot has changed in the last year - got more serious about photography, got a new camera (loving it!) and even got a new blog! So, for a new beginning, I'd like to invite you to visit me and take a look at my latest photos: my...

    The23rdman's 52 for 2010- Week 24 - METAL

This one is really different, I like the combination of the unreal Buddha's head and the flash&bones, living human next to it. Surprising and very interesting..

I don't understand German either ;) My husband is German so I just grabbed the Bible from his shelf and used it for this shot. Gospels still qualify for poetry, don't they?

Down with flu this week, so used minimum energy to create this one... I'm wondering whether it's not too dark? Can't really decide.

    ShrubMonkey's 52 for 2010 - "Poem & Poetry" - alternative added

I never know how to take a proper picture of a boat when I see one - always end up with messy boat and boring background. Next time I'll get closer and try it your way :)

    Shortie; 52 for 2010

At first I didn't know where to look at, all of those little pieces seemed to be out of focus. Then saw your reflection (that's you with the camera, no?) at one of them, so I guess that's where the focus is ;)

68lbs Does The 52 Thing! Week 14 - Shoot (back upto date)

Although the object is so simple, the dof and the lighting make the picture interesting to look at. I would buy that magazine with this pic on the cover ;)

    Dougie's 52 - Week 7 - people

It doesn't exactly tell the story of 'Curved' to me, but that doesn't matter because I very much like everything else about your photo. Especially the contrast between smooth, almost silky water, and the airy sky. Great colours!

Thanks for the cropped version, CGeezer, exactly what I had in mind. Although... now when I look at it, it not only changes the focus, but story around the picture as well. While the first version is more of a 'autumn walk' photo, the cropped one is more of a 'geometry and form' photo. I'll try...

    ania's 52 week 2 Poetry

Oops, it did cross my mind that I shouldn't say it, but then - it's hard not to notice that the photo wasn't taken yesterday, no? ;) Thanks for your comments all, now that I look at it, I think I should have focused more on the fence, instead of trying to squeeze everything into the picture...

    Chris's Photo52 2010 - Weeks 22 & 23 Post #200, Page 7

I love this one. The dark background leads the eye directly to the curves and colours (amazing, btw!). Can be hipnotising ;)

OK, here we go. Week 1: CURVED I've been thinking about this topic for the whole 4 days (by now I think everything in this world is curved!) just to get back to one of my first and favourite shots, taken last November on our way to Greenwich Park. Nobody has seen it yet, so I'm looking...
