We did this when we went in 2008. We collected images on the barcode cards. Then when we got home we could review and the buy online. No need to shell out before hand. Also u can add 'extra's to your images such as cartoon characters.
If it still works the same u don't have tonpay before hand...

and again, if cheap/simple is what your after then use photobox. but if you want more design flexibility and a better quality book try www.bobsbooks.co.uk had nothing but fab books from 'bob' - loads of flexibility in your design.
I have used photobox for some cheap end photobooks but i dont believe their quality or the flexibility in design to be good enough for most of the books i create.

I love photobooks as a way of 'printing' and collecting my photographs. It depends on what purpose the photobook as to where I get it printed to be honest. I have used 'dscolourlabs' for printing and books with great results. But my favourite photobooks have been from 'bobs books'. Don't know...
