    Which Glass do you use?

Glamour and Portrait? 70-200/2.8 IS is always my first choice for studio work. 85/1.2 L is my first choice for outdoor work but the 70-200 is still with me. It is a great lens!

    Remote flash triggers

I would just go with the Canon ST-E2 trigger, it has always worked fine for me but it isn't cheap....

    Skin Tone help.

Normally skin tone problems are fixed by White Balance, shooting with a correct exposure, ensuring your workflow colour is accurate. To me the skin tone in your picture looks fine, ie the neck (correctly exposed) area is fine and natural, her left arm isn't a skin tone problem, it is a burn...

    Telephoto Zoom?

Why not see if you can pick up a good condition used 100-400? For a single (longer zoom) lens solution it is really good value for the price.

    Got a 2x Teleconverter today

Unless it was an emergency I wouldn't use any 2x converter on any zoom lens. As mentioned, you will loose 2 stops of lights, if you have a pro series body you will still get AF but it will be at the pace of a snail and you can forget it if you want to track anything that is moving. Image quality...

    Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS & TC's

The 1.4x II TC will work fine on the 70-200/2.8 IS but in my opinion, forget the 2x on any zoom. AF speed and accuracy will suffer hugely as will the image quality. The 2x only really works properly on the big Canon primes, 300/2.8 IS, 400/2.8 IS etc., etc.,

    Cheapest website? Anyone know?

www.names.co.uk. May not be the cheapest in the UK but in my opinion they certainly offer the best service.

    Hello!!!

As mentioned, the 2 main brands are Canon and Nikon. For that price (buying new) you are either looking at a Nikon D80 with a kit lens or a Canon 450D with a kit lens. I would recommend going down to your local camera shop and holding both, see which feels most comfortable in your hands...

    Canon 1ds Mark II

    Elaborate on what?
  11. Alistair

    Hello!!!

In that case I reckon the 1Ds Mark 3, 35L, 85L, 70-200/2.8 IS, 300/2.8 IS and a 580EX2 to start with! You might get a bit of chance from £13,000. Seriously a budget really would help Rebecca. :)

    Hello!!!

What is your budget? What do you want to achieve with your shots, just snaps or something more serious?

    Canon 1ds Mark II

That's fine as long as the actuation count hasn't been tampered with.

please comment on my web site

Hi 6ft, Over and above what everyone else has mentioned, you need a very clear vision of how you want the look and feel of the site to be. I find the layout quite cluttered, the menus quite confusing and to be honest, I don't find the pictures are processed in a way that is best advertising...

    Canon 1ds Mark II

Any of the 1D or 1Ds series (except the Mark 3 range) can have their actuation count checked using a piece of software like Cancount. But beware, this figure can be changed very easily. The only way to be sure of the recorded actuations is to have Canon check, kinda difficult on a used purchase...
