Here's another good site for Auroras... a bit on the scientific side but understandable.

 OK...Ok... for general photography, the most I ever shot in one day was about 450 frames doing street photography in downtown Philadelphia. I RARELY exceed that.
Well.... since you DID ask for "frames"... I shot 1600 in 5 minutes to catch that Saturn image I posted here. So... add the 1200 I shot of Jupiter & the 700 or so for each moon shot... yes... all in one night in a 1 hr span... probably close to 5000 or so :D

Congrats to EVERYONE for fine contributions this month. A most excellent display of everyones techniques & creativity in capturing awesome shots.

Here's my story...
I got my girlfriend a Minolta DiMAGE Z-10 this past Christmas. She specifically requested this camera due to the fact she makes jewelry and wanted...

You have no idea how many shots I've taken the past 2 days & I'm dying to get some "Critiques" [smilie=w: , but not sure if I should post any of them due to the fact that many are of my competition subject, just not the particular shot I'm submitting. I think I'll wait & see what the...
