Hello one and all.
I am looking at buying a macro lens within the next month or so and wondered if anyone could give me some feedback.
I have a canon 500d which at present does everything I need it to. I've been using a raynox DCR 250 lens with some decent results but now wish to buy a...
I got the Redsnapper and ball head combo and it's fantastic. Strong sturdy and has everythin I need. Was about £150.
It may not be the lightest as its not carbon fibre but I lift weights and workout so it is not an issue to carry around personally.
LMFAO.
This was the first thing I suggested actually but not a 5D would have to have been lower value one. But the issue is she wants one that fits into her handbag etc. I even offered to buy her a new handbag lol
Thanks for the replies.
We have had a look on the web and I think she will choose the canon s100. She had a canon prior to "upgrading" to her current luminix that she hates so she feels comfortable With the canon brand.
The s100 looks packed with features some of them are similar to the ones...
She will be snapping the kids mainly and would like something with good picture quality, good in dark conditions, zoom etc.
She won't be too fussed about settings but I think if I get her a decent camera she will actually learn more about it and enjoy it as I have with my 500d.
Hello everyone
I am looking at buying a new camera for the wife (compact digital) and being as I have a canon figured I would get her a canon one also.
I have about £250 to spend on it for her and she does not want a bridge camera.
Do you experienced folk have any recommendations at...
I got the 500D from jessops with the twin lens kit. I'm loving it and will keep me going a good while. I asked the chap in jessops if I should by the 500D or the 1000/1100D and he told me the 500D was the better buy.
Ultimately at our newbie level I doubt we would notice the marginal differences.
Mainly nature (flowers and macro etc) and pictures of my children.
The 500D is more than adequate for my purposes currently, I'm just trying to establish the main differences and benefits of the cameras as there are so many.
I assume that the 5Ds and 1Ds are the pro cameras given the massive...
Hello to you all hope you are well.
I have the 500D which is ace for me as I am learning. I'm very impressed with it and have just signed up to start a NCFE lvl 1 course in September.
I am trying to understand the differences between the models as knowing me I will want to upgrade at some...
Hello sorry to ask however I have the Canon software for processing and editing RAW files and understand there is a manual to download which explains how to use it.
I have searched the net and can not seem to find it, and wondered if anyone here had a link to it.
Many thanks
Adam
Thanks everyone. I have decided to stick with what I have for the next few years. I reckon I should learn what I need to without spending money, then when the time is right I can upgrade the body first and go from there. My wife will Inherrit the current body in the next few years.
I am pretty new to the whole photography world. Just thought if I'm am to get better would it not be wise to get 2 half decent lenses.
I'm in no need for them as I'm still learning, just figured they may help going forward.
