    I'm also an xpan user :) My main issue though, is scanning! How do you scan?* I've got a coolscan V, but means I have to scan in parts and stitch, which is slow and irritating (ok, I'm just lazy!). Another problem was when I bring my negs into a shop for dev-only, sometimes they cut my photos...

    My main camera is the 1V. I love it, it's really great. I think the EOS 3 is similar to the 1V in features, except in build, and the 3 has the eye-controlled focus. Good comparison table here: http://photonotes.org/reviews/1-1n-3-1v/

    http://photonotes.org/reviews/1-1N-3-1V/ has a nice comparison chart. A con of the 1V is that it costs more than the eos3 :( but the EOS3 has almost all the features of the 1V (and has eye controlled focus point selection!)

    And it can also do 10fps if you've got the right battery (NP-E2) in there! I doubt I'll ever use this though, I don't like that feeling of using film so fast! If you manage to get your hands on the ES-E1 data cable, you can download all the shooting data to the computer!

    I've got an EOS 1V HS. I love it so much, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to use film with their Canon gear. It's got that solid 1-series build and AF, 45 AF points, 100% viewfinder coverage... For me, feels great in the hand!
