I guess it depends on a number of factors. If you are storing years worth of files, raw files, for events then it becomes prohibative to move or change - a bit like being tied into a camera system, so if something does change - Like they pull the service or limit it, and the cynic in me says...

CPL is for reflections on car bodywork and specifically windscreens, so needed unfortunately, Resolution is not something I am concerned about.
