Thanks again, all. I'll take a look at Bob's Books. I'm also perhaps erring towards Blurb, as they print from pdf's, which would allow me to design the book in InDesign rather than use some useless software. Maybe some others allow that too?

I can't recommend vidahost enough. They're well priced and the options are well specced. Possibly most importantly, the customer service is second to none.

Nice work. I love selective colouring in photos. 1) Lose the floats. 2) Did you just use the desaturation thing in PS to do the B&W layer? Using a decent action or converting to B&W by a different method would give you a much more contrasty background to complement the boat.

I generally just use it to edit shadows and highlights in photos to give a touch more contrast to my shots. General levels and colour balance stuff. Nothing major normally. If I'm doing a poster or something, which requires a bit more effort, I've spent over 6 hours to get layer masks right...

Yep, that's by far the easiest way to do it in my experience.
