    Another 7D or 70D dilemma!

They have rumoured the 7DII for the last 2 years! After owning the 7D I would go for the 70D.

Why doesnt the 10-22mm work on a full frame camera

The plastic bit just flicks out but you can't go lower than 12mm, I put a rubber o-ring behind the filter at the front which works well. Its not ideal though. useable from 15mm up really. (flippin 2 year old thread! lol)

What New Gear Have You Purchased This Week?

You must be joking! I had to make her buy/lend her the money for this and a 5D Mark II so she stops bowing my stuff!

What New Gear Have You Purchased This Week?

Nothing this week until my girlfriend bought a Canon 24-105 L

    canon 7d or 1DMK3

I like everybody else have done the same, had a 7D, got fed up with ISO performance and swapped to a 1D Mark III. So glad I did. Mine suffers with oil spots on the sensor though, seems to be a common problem with the Mark III. Only upgrade I would make now is to a Mark IV.

FF - Canon 5D MkII v Canon 1Ds Mk III

Out of interest what are the advantages of the 6D over 5DII? I know the 6D has wireless transfer. I persuaded my GF to spend her money on a second hand 5D mark II, hope it was the right thing to do.

    Photography show @ NEC

Great, already packed my 2x 1D bodies 600mm and 400mm f2.8, can't wait. On a serious note, good news there is a replacement for Focus, my girlfriend only asked me earlier this evening.

    Another SSD question

How did it work? I guess 8gb RAM is the max?

    Another SSD question

About to fit a 840 Pro to my MBP, the Pro is a longer lasting drive due to layering(I'm not an expect, but Google it). They seem to be the best about. How much RAM do you have?

    Shelsley Walsh Advice

Thanks. Yes I'm looking forward to the Aston Martin AMR 1 demo runs. I'll take the 70-200 and 24-70, that should cover most things.

    Shelsley Walsh Advice

Supporting a car racing there this weekend but taking the camera along. Ive not been before, will 70-200mm be enough to save dragging much kit around? I'm guessing you can get pretty close to the action? Thanks in advance.

Probably been asked a thousand times

Oulton Park is probably the easiest circuit I have been to to take close to the track shots as fencing is minimal. Try Silverstone, lol

    IOMTT Media Accreditation

Surely you can get very close to the track anyway? Or is there another reason?

    The logic of Silverstone

On a similar note, I was at an event on the national circuit last weekend and was told to move by a marshal for standing to close to a fence on the Wellington straight, I had to laugh as this fence was behind another fence. Very confused my brother took one step back and sarcastically asked if...
