It's time to buy some new glass! I already have my eyes set on a second hand Tamron SP 70-300mm DI VC USD as a telephoto for airshow stuff but after some research I've been looking at some super zoom's for travelling ect.
The two I've got my eye on are the Tamron 18-270 PZD and the 28-300mm XR...
You can always try somewhere like Duxford in Cambs. Especially in the Spring where a lot of the Vintage aircraft are undertaking test flights and practice displays for the airshow season. The classic wings Dragon Rapides and Tigermoths fly throughout the day.
