    Hi Nawty I double checked the aperture lever for a random 100 times all seemed to hit the same position and seemed ok ,thank you.

    Hi The problem I had was in P mode to be fair.The more I've read it does seem like it could have been metering wrong.

    Hi Nawty Yes on the tripod seconds after checking via the screen. I previously turned of the auto preview to save battery ,got home the first time to discover I lost some precious pictures. So now I bring up the picture to check. Not to sure on metering yet wished I knew a bit more,I leave it...
