I'm going to say that I've found a great number of good nikon lenses at sensible prices pre owned, I was lucky enough to get the 55-300mm and the 35mm prime together for £200. Combined with the 18-55 kit lens I felt I had enough to get me on the road to learning how to compose and take a decent...
Same here Amazon have plenty with great reviews, I picked up two third party ones from a local store that was closing down, have never had any problems and they hold charge as well as the "official" ones.
Sorry to hijack but to save starting a thread what would most of you say a pre owned D5500 would be fetching, fancy a move up ( in terms of bells and whistles ) from my D3300. Have looked on ebay but price vary pretty wildly.
It's perfect for those occasions, the other half get's a face on when she see's my camera bag as she knows I'll have my "I'm taking pics" head on, however I can snaffle the RX in anytime and she doesn't know until it's too late :D

Brilliant, that's a complete nail on the head moment and one I wished I'd come up with!!
It won't make a lousy picture fantastic but it can add to it surely? A good title can provoke thought and enhance a picture is where I'd say I stand on the matter, thanks Ian.
