Making a png water mark with a blurred background?

Pookeyhead that's fantastic, thank you! My usage of Photoshop is pretty basic compared to it's capabilities! So there's some learning for me to do here :) I spend most of my time in Lightroom since buying it. Thanks again!

Making a png water mark with a blurred background?

Yes, but if possible as part of the page, rather than manually blurring each photo first before batch applying a water mark in LR.

Still havent forgotten about this thread, or the course!! So much going on lately with cycling + family stuff... :wacky: @Chris Fallon Not sure how it works now as the Adobe products have changed, when I got my PS6 and LR4 I used the www.software4students.co.uk site, but that was back in 2013...

@step72 - http://www.inst.org/checkout/index.php?course=113 Congrats on all the great marks folks. I've resigned myself to the fact I'm not going to get enough time to do any assignments until next year now, which is good ... as I'm not longer stressing about having to get them done. Busy...

How do I make a 2560x1440 image website friendly, 300kb+/-

Although it sounds large, thats the native resolution of my monitor I use, its also the resolution of the free use images. So if I can get my own photos to a similar size in kb while keeping the same pixel dimensions I'd be happy that anyone else viewing on monitors up to the same size as mine...

How do I make a 2560x1440 image website friendly, 300kb+/-

I'm curious as I found website template which has some bundled web page background images. They are all 2560x1440 72ppi and all are 300kb AND still have fairly good image quality when viewed full screen. Heres what I've tried so far on a couple of my own photos: Image size = 2560x1440 (bicubic)...

Same here, once it was clear what was needed from the assignment I got straight on Amazon! I always really liked the Danbo photos people posted on the web so was fun playing around, took a lot of photos in various scenes ... most didnt really work, they needed more "planning" in advance, still I...

ASSIGNMENT 5: SUBMIT FIVE VERSIONS OF THE SAME PHOTO For folks stuck on Assignment 5 I attached my submissions so you have an idea whats actually expected. Of course, I had doubts about starting the thread at all as I thought it might just look like hook for the company who run the course.

Hi Justin, I've made £90.00 so far ... not amazing I know but I havent really been getting on with the course much. As I said to a chap who PM'd me, if I had followed every "lead" if you like then I'd be doing better at my photography and made a bit more money too. I was thinking of doing...

Diploma in Professional Photography (DiPP) - inst.org

Nope, just made the thread so others who are on it had somewhere to post and people who were interested would be able to find out more. There was some confusion between the dipp and P.I. course too when I was looking in to doing a course. I know it probably looks like I am on th epayroll by some...

Just checking in ... great to see some new folks on the course. I've really fallen off the wagon, been trying and trying to get the landscape module shot, struggling as the weather has been rubbish every time I'm free to get out which is typical. New Years resolution - must try harder!
